For Bin Week, Aerial Pointer and Rain Soon. Last updated 29 October 2026.
These apps are made by Mach One Management (Sydney, Australia). We sell them for a one-off price and have no interest in your data. This page says exactly what each app does and does not do.
Collects nothing. Your bin schedule is stored on your device (and in iCloud only if you back up your device). The app makes no network requests. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on the phone.
Collects nothing. Your location is used on the device to rank transmitters and is never sent anywhere. About once a week the app downloads an updated transmitter list from our data service; that request carries no personal information. The transmitter data comes from the Australian Communications and Media Authority's Register of Radiocommunications Licences.
Forecasts come from Apple Weather through Apple's WeatherKit; Apple's handling of those requests is covered by Apple's privacy policy. To send rain alerts, the app registers with our own alert service (hosted on Cloudflare) and sends it: a push notification token, the coordinates and names of the places you choose to watch (including your current location if you leave that on), your lead-time and quiet-hours settings, and your time zone. That is all. No account, no email, no identifier that links to you. Turning alerts off for a place removes it from the service; deleting the app or turning all alerts off removes the device record. We keep no history of your locations and no logs that identify a device beyond what is needed to deliver alerts.
Under the Australian Privacy Act you can ask what we hold about you and ask for it to be deleted. For Rain Soon, deleting the app does this automatically. For anything else, email [email protected].
